"Emotional social intelligence prosthetic" device , a device that allows individuals using it to determine if the person they are talking to shows signs of boredom or annoyance.  It's a prototype device that's still in development, but essentially it's a handheld computer linked to facial recognition software on a head mounted camera, with a device that vibrates when the person that you're looking at shows signs of boredom or annoyance.  It's intended for people with autism, but I think it's broadest application will be among the ranks for fandom.
